Right in the heart of the Branson action is Thousand Hills Resort, which is home to a championship 18-hole golf course and several different condo developments. Among them is The Foothills at Thousand Hills. The Foothills offers two bedroom, two bath condos arranged in a courtyard-type setting. The development was built in 1993, so some units are in need up cosmetic updating inside, some units have already been improved. The grounds are very well kept by the Homeowner’s Association.

The unique thing about The Foothills at Thousand Hills is the indoor AND outdoor pools as well as a hot tub and great indoor and outdoor spaces at the clubhouse.

Looking to buy a condo near/on the golf course. Will only live there for 2-4 months in the summer. Need price info and info about the HOA (maintenance fees).
Also, want to make available for timeshare.

  2. Hi Jim,

I sent you an e-mail. Would be glad to visit with you. Call me any time!

  3. Giada Fierei says:

Will you publish this? hmm. Not a good experience at thousand hills. home owners association a completely self serving board of “got nothing else to do’ers”. The dues are outrageous for the amount of work as per the balance sheet I last received. Please, one would do better to invest in a beautiful home and there are so many in Branson, a condominium with it’s stipulations is a mere joke so don’t waste your hard earned money, really. I live in New York but travel here occasionally and I am selling even at a loss just to get out of this big brother kind of living.

  4. Hi Giada,

I have mentioned in a previous post: about condo fees. It’s certainly something to consider before you buy a condo. You don’t have to do the exterior maintenance yourself or take care of the landscaping, but you are at the mercy of other condo owners regarding the fees you pay, etc. I will say that Thousand Hills fees are about average for the area. Trust me, there are some that are much higher!

I hope you have success in selling your condo.
